So. This has done a really really good job of dying.
Just so you all know --> my mother agreed to take us to Ani. Hannah got herself grounded. She sucks at chemistry. I went to Dayton instead. Much fun.
So. My family is running around the house shouting things about caviar. I swear to Koresh, it's the truth.
-ardie, Friday, November 9, 2001
yes! i'll do anything to go! please!!!! ask your mother! now! tell her i'll love her forever and if she doesn't take us i'll now longer consider her my second mother. oh, and the song is called "pic yer nose". it's on the album titled "puddle dive". god how pathetic am i? i just listened to the same ani song over and over again for about an hour. *deep sigh* but it's a great song.... :)(all her songs are great...)
-PBJ, Thursday, September 13, 2001
Ok, Hannah, I have this really wild idea. Lets take my mom to the Ani concert with us! She likes Ani. Of course, she doesn't like to drive to Bloomington but, uh, I guess she could let me drive? (*g* - or not! Hey, I can try...) Of course, my mother isn't not necessarily the best person to go to a concert with. But maybe we could work something out. Think about it.
-ardie, Monday, September 10, 2001
No, Holly, I think I take that award hands down. Except for my bookshelf. My bookshelf is all neat and organized. Yup. I worked with my mom for almost two hours and I understand all of this electricity stuff a lot better...except I still dont quite get the whole voltage thing. I mean, I do but...I dont. 'potential difference??' yeah.
Ani DiFranco is cool. PBJ - what is that song about picking your nose? I need a funny/amusing Ani song for a tape I am making for the car in order to drown out the two little kids (10 and 12...thats little) we drive to school every day. Fun Stuff. The Aquabats amuse me greatly.
-ardie, Monday, September 10, 2001
i added the quote. cause ani is my goddess. it's from a poem called "the slant". she is way too cool. i am trying to find a ride to blumington 10/20 for her concert. i don't see it happening though....
-PBJ, Sunday, September 9, 2001
Sorry, ardie, I have no idea--we studied electrical circuits in science last year and I was totally lost. Try the Internet or something? Sorry about your schedule.
Who here posted the rad Ani DiFranco quote? I used it in an english assignment--had to find quotes that show "use of language". Anyway, thanks!

Wow, apparently I don't have the messiest room in the world after all :) I know something about electronical stuff -- if you can tell me what exactly you're having trouble with, maybe I can help. Then again, maybe not. This Sunday is Resumption Sunday at our church where each family brings some water from somewhere they've been this summer and pours it in a bowl. Despite the fact that I've been places this summer, we totally forgot to collect any water on our trips, so will probably end up using water from the playground where we did our play. And after that real youth group starts up again -- yay!
-holly, Friday, September 7, 2001
I have been really busy with school too - I have 2 math classes and 3 english classes, so lots of hw, plus I have been working really hard because we have just started a Student Governernment from scratch in less than a week and I am now the PR rep, so I have been working a LOT on that. I don't have time to sit around and mope. One of these days it is all going to catch up to me...(I am only on here now because Yahoo! Mail has decided not to work, so I have to sit around and wait for it to work so I can dl the data from the lab today. Fun fun.)
Does anyone here have any understanding of electronical things? We are doing them in science and I am REALLY confused. No one has been able to explain it to me. Anyone good at this stuff? I'm really desparate...
My room has about 10 layers of stuff on the floor...I am beginning to forget what the floor looks like...
-ardie, Thursday, September 6, 2001
Happy Labor Day, all! Yeah, I haven't posted in a while--been busy with school, really. The sitting at home all day and moping part is accurate too. :) That's pretty cool. 200k might not be so off the mark...old cars can be worth a lot.
-joglers, Monday, September 3, 2001
Hmm. You people must all be in school and so miserable you sit at home all day and mope or something. Except Holly. She must be busy with her Sheakspearian play. And maybe Rebekah, who got out really late and simply doesn't love us. I am not moping. I like school. I am planning the best way to use the money of the totally restored 1964 Ford Mustang just donated to my school which we get to decide what to do with. (We are hopefully starting a scholarship fund). Someone has told us that this car is worth over 200K, but we're not sure. (A car worth more than my house? Hmm. Scary.)

What is this, no entries while I am gone?
Funny, last I checked, the world does continue while I am on vacation. Maybe you all talked about me (or possibly world domination?) and then deleted the entries so i wouldn't be mad. (or try to foil your plans?)
Another mysterie: The images have reappeared, hrmm.
-ardie the amazed, Sunday, August 26, 2001
Yah, I rode the metro some. My room is a disaster, and I really ought to clean it up. :( This last week has mostly consisted of play rehearsals, not too exciting. (I'm in my homeschool group's production of The Comedy of Errors -- we do a shakespeare play every year.)
-holly, Friday, August 17, 2001
Sounds boring, Holly. Our sympathies. PBJ's and ardie's vacations sound fun though. I know what you mean about the room thing ardie. I've been picking mine up so I'll have a visible floor for school, and it's pretty messy.
Hey, yeah, the images do seem to be missing. Funny, they worked before. Sure, ardie, that would be great. :)
-joglers, Thursday, August 16, 2001
Does anyone else not see the images? I think envy blocks off-server requests like that. Should I move them to angelcities so that we can see them again? I would just give you guys my password so that if you wanted to make a layout (hint, hint, hehe), you could just put them there, but I have no idea what my password is. They gave me some random combination of letters so I just let my computer fill it in for me.
-ardie, Thursday, August 16, 2001
No, not baltimore, Ocean City. (Hey, you got the right state) Then I went to DC. Holly, wouldn't it be funny if we were both there at the same time? Hmm. Did you ride the metro? I did. A lot. And my brother went insane. (The subway entertains him to no end...unfortunately, he feels the need to share this quite loudly with the rest of us.)
I am going to add some quotes whch I stole from my friend Chris, because he is cool and so are they. There aren't any references, though, so you all will never know who said them in the first place.
I am leaving again on saturday, then I get back late on the 24th. On the 25th I have all kinds of crazy stuff to do (Sorry, PBJ, I won't be able to make it to church), and then school starts on the 26th. I think this vacation schedule is trying to drive me insane, and seems to be succeeding. Right now, I am supposed to be cleaning up so that I can be all ready for school when I have less time to clean, especially since I made a huge mess because I have 6 sewing projects going at once. And I have a tendency to just throw the scraps to the floor. ::looks guily:: Instead, I chose to spend time with all of you. Feel loved.
-ardie, Thursday, August 16, 2001
i went to Michigan women's music festival. and had a grand ol' time. naked lesbains everywhere. very interesting. i playted elbow tag naked in a giant mud puddle! it was fun! made a bunch new friends and heard some kickass bands and did some moshing (though barefoot)(oww). so yeah, it was awesome. :) i believe ardie is in baltimore?
-PBJ, Monday, August 13, 2001
Where was I? In DC, attending my grandparents' 50th anniversary celebration, and not having a terribly thrilling time. I am in a complaining mood right now so you probably don't want to hear me talk about it.
-holly, Sunday, August 12, 2001
Hey hey hey! Where is everybody, man? Don't tell me you've developed a life! Anyway, I was bored so I added a cool quote I found to the quotes column. Orwell. Yeah.
So, when does everyone here start school?
-Joglers, Saturday, August 11, 2001
I take back every good thing I ever said about my Opera browser. The damn thing swallowed my bookmarks! My preferences are gone too--although I suppose those are replaceable.
Yeah, multiple windows suck. My school has microsoft office 2000--I remember that bug from Computer Apps class. Hey, what can I say, Bill Gates is evil. :)
Cool! Not that your button popped, but that you got the pants. Wait, I have to go--my aunt is visiting, and we're going out to eat. Natch.
-Joglers, Tuesday, July 31, 2001
ooh i did i did! i got these super spiffy browish-orange pants straight out of the 70s with little felt eyes on the ass pockets. they are so kick ass! but a tad bit small. the first day i wore them the button popped so i have to close tehm with a safety pin :( oh well. ok, i'm using the net illegally and my cleaning lady is here (damn cleaning ladies) and i don't want to egt caught so bye!
-PBJ, Friday, July 27, 2001
I got office2000. I don't like it. It creates lots of windows (eg, one for every word document), and it has this funky bug where when you close something or let it go to screensaver, there is this blank box at the bottom of the screen.
It's ok Joglers, I did survive! And I probably will for the next 60 years or so...actually, maybe more because of the magicness of Modern Medicine, yippee.
I need to sleep more. I also need to rip tacks out of the floor and go and work on the floorcloth I started in the garage and go and work on school and practice the piano and call a couple of people...the list goes on. I desire sleep.
-ardie, Friday, July 27, 2001
Cool, PBJ! Did you get any of those rad new clothes yet? I have some 70's *type* stoof--well, a pair of flares and a freaky purple print shirt, but nothing vintage. Not that anyone cares.
Congrats, ardie! Hardwood floors are neat. Especially if you spill stuff all the time like I do. Hehe, thanks. I'm sorry--I meant to archive first then paste in the new template, and I guess I did the opposite by mistake. :(
I got a new computer hard drive a few days ago. The computer doesn't crash as much anymore. And we finally have Windows 98.
-Joglers, Thursday, July 26, 2001
howdie! Totally awesome new layout. I am noticing a trend on people-with-signs (protestors?) in your layouts, joges! heheh. I am trying to think of a way to make it better and not coming up with anything, so we'll just leave it as is, ok? ok. good. However, you didn't save my old layout. ::cries:: OH well, I guess I'll survive!
I have spent the day ripping out carpet, vaccuming and sweeping, and prying up nails, tacks, and staples from MY NEWLY UNCOVERED HARDWOOD FLOOR! bwahahahahahaha.
In case you can't tell, I like hardwood floors. I also painted the hallway (which was a lot. My mother and I did it and it took a long time). And soon my dining room is going to turn blue. then we will rip the carpet out of the dining and living rooms. then my kitchen will turn yellow, yippee. Not that any of you care of course...
-ardie the interior designer, Tuesday, July 24, 2001
umm... i like the layout and change is nice but i really liked the old one too.... hmm... i was on the bus today and i met this guy with these totally spiffy 70's yellow pants and i told him that i thought they were totally spiffy and he gave me this business card to a vintage clothing store where he works and bought those pants. so now i get to go shopping! yay!
-PBJ, Monday, July 23, 2001
New layout. Please tell me if you hate it and please feel free to alter it as you see fit. It's one of those things that actually looks best in large resolutions, but anything 800x600+ is fine.
(By the way, it should look better once we get a longer text table.)
